Blog #42: Production Week 2

 

            Today I decided to find some photoshoot inspiration for my magazine. Since I am still not sure about where or what I want my photoshoot to be. Although, I do have a couple of ideas based on my content, since I am creating a fashion magazine it will be centered around style and looks. Down bellow will be some ideas for my photoshoot that I will have with my two female models.

Blog #41: Production Week 2

        So, today I will be sharing my magazine cover inspirations that I will use as a basis to create my final magazine cover.  Next blog will contain my calendar which will tell all about how my production will progress. This is a post I will refer to when doing my photoshoot so I can get pictures with professional angles. My inspirations are down bellow. 

    As you can see the magazines are quite minimalistic, I wish to create a simple and aesthetic magazine cover.

        Now that I have some ideas for content I have decided to find some sample aesthetics that might fit my magazine too. I'm making sure to consider that after taking my photoshoot my aesthetic can completely change but still I think it'll be helpful to have some options prepared so here they are:

Blog #39: Production Week 1

 

                Hello everyone, just as the tittle suggests today I will brainstorm some content ideas that I plan to include in my final magazine. I am going to use the data I gathered from my survey to really decide what will be included. I must also keep in mind what content will fit the sort of photos I want to take of my models which I will talk about in my next blog. For the next couple of blogs I will be putting my ideas out there being that I am still in the planning phase of my magazine. So down below will be some content ideas I have.

• I can write about new popular hairstyles that are being widely done by teens since my audience is of the age range of 17-18. I can even take photos of the hairstyles on my models which would be fun. Furthermore, I can compare the new hairstyles to the old ones to show the difference in trends.

• Another idea I have is creating an acne-welcoming section where I discuss effective but simple beauty solutions. This would be a good idea since teenage girls typically are interested in makeup. Once again I can do the make up looks on my models and take photos of it.

• I also thought of having a section where I create looks based on current fashion trends, which I would be my photoshoot. My models would wear the outfits in a nice location, I think it would turn out really nice. I can do popular styles like gothic, y2k style, and hipster.

• Maybe I could even include a poll in my magazine where I show my audience what other teens think of theses popular trends.

        Anyways, those are all the ideas I have for now. I will continue to post any other ideas I get. I think next blog I will show you guys my aesthetic theme ideas for my magazine.
